Help Please!!!

I went to pick up Nova tonight from the boyfriends little Bro... We go in his room to get Nova, J picks him up, Nova nips him (didn't even break the skin) J drops Nova, Nova runs under the bed... J's room is A MESS, you can't see the floor, it's piled with garbage, its absolutely discusting (no wonder he doesn't want anyone to go in there...)

We've been looking for Nova for almost 2 hours, no luck, not even a glimpse of him... I don't know what to do!! Any advice for finding a lost rat? I can't stop crying, I'm so worried about him... I don't want to leave, ugh!!

He's probably spooked and hiding. Make sure the door stays closed so he can't get out and sit there in complete silence, eventually he will stir and you will be able to narrow down where he is. This may take hours though. You can also try getting a live trap, but it sounds like there are a lot of places for him to hide so it may be a while until he goes into it.

I don't know, J has only had him a couple days...

Clear out a space in the trash,
put down a cage with tastey food that can not be carried away (ie yogurt, baby food peas, etc), water and something to snuggle in, into the cage
Leave the cage open and sprinkle flour around it on the floor.
You can exit the room, shut the door and wait several hours.
He will hopefully go into the cage, have something to eat and snuggle in for a nap.
The flour will show what direction he heads off in if he doesn't stay in the cage.

No we haven't! We looked well into the night, and I just got home from class and went back to the Bf's, and no sign of him... I don't know what to do!

He's hiding very well. You need to clear out the room. He might be where clothes are, something soft and a dark spot, maybe the closet or drawer.
Be sure to leave the cage on the ground with food and water. Hopefully he'll go home when he's hungry and thirsty.
