help munsch in pain

i dont know what happend but munsch is limping now...no clue where it came from. the vet looked at her and just gave us antbiotics for her nail and that was it, i was afraid that it might be broken. it looks swollen too.. i hope i can get her to an vet as soon as possible... what could i do?

If it's broken there isn't much you can do. But a vet is a good idea. Not sure if you are giving him pain meds, but maybe talk to you vet about them.

Rats sprain their legs/feet so often, it might just be that. But it is painful so you could ask your vet for pain management. But they don't always need it. Sometimes just staying quiet helps them heal fast enough.

thank you for the replies, it may be a sprain now that i think about it. at first she wasnt in any pain (on staurday) and now she's barelt using her leg. we are going to the vet tomoro morning to make sure and ask for some pain meds. she has been laying in her hide a lot so i hope a few days off her feet and she will be fine

thank you. i had her in the lil carrier for the night. so she is on one level. she is in her hide now in the big cage. i prolly put her in the carrier at night again.
we went to the vet and she told us is prolly just a sprain she gave us pain medicane for 5 days and it should help her. she wanted to do a xray but it was too much, we dont have the money right now. maybe we take her to another vet and let her xray taken there. but its not a lot what they could do anyway right?. she said she could put a lil thing on it but thats all i just keep her in the cage and carrier for a couple days. hope she will be fine after that, cuz she cant put any pressure on the foot at all now.
