Help:Integrate 2 groups

Sorry it has been so long since I posted last. You know, LIFE...................
Anyway, I have 2 groups of ratties I would like to get together.
First group is Lily 2 1/2 yrs old and her five "babies" that are still with us-
Poppy, Petunia, Lief, Twig & Boo who just turned 2 yesterday. Second group
is Zeus, Rhea & Luna (all siblings) who are 7 months old. They have all been spayed/neutered.
They have been neighbors in separate cages for few months and now share a
2 level Critter nation. Older ratties in the top, younger in the bottom. I would
like to get them all together if possible. Any opinions or suggestions? :?

How long have they been sharing the cage? And do they share the same out time area but at different times too?
You should start on neutral ground, the bathtub is a good place but so is a bed or table top.

They share the same playtime space but different times.
Do I start with just one or two or put both groups together
at the same time ?

I'd put both groups all together on neutral ground. Try to keep it going for at least 30 minutes. Offer some extra yummy food for distractions. Always end the intro on a good note.
