I rescued a hairless dumbo female from certain death yesterday and she is nothing but skin and bones. She has a hunch back and smells of death. Is there anything I can do for her? Is she going to make me sick or my other rats sick?

You need to keep her away from your other rats. Do not cross contaminate. Is she sick, sneezing, coughing or wheezy sounding?

If she is thin she needs ensure and a healthy diet. What smells on her? eyes? ears just her in general?

Can you take her to a good rat vet?

Is she able to eat?
Strawberry ensure or soy infant formula, mixed up with baby cereal may help her.

How is her breathing?

She seems to be fine and she is eatting really well. She just overall smells like death. I gave her a bath and the smell came right back. I had a guy tell me he was going to release them outside its winter here with snow on the ground. I got 7 of them the rest seem to be healthy. They were in a small cage together and it was filthy. I do not have any idea how they were treated other than they were fed cat and dog food. She is the sweetest thing I just dont know what to do. I called all the local vets and they just told me they would euthanize but couldnt do anything for her.

With nakids you really have to keep (pardon the pun) an eye on their eyes.
With lack of fur they can get a lot of gunk stuck there.
Olive had an eye infection that resulted in the removal of her eye and it smelled like unwashed lady parts. :sick2:
Just to be safe and for your peace of mind a trip to the vet is a good idea.
Any names for your sweetie?
Can't wait to see pix. :cuddle:

If she seems fine, she probably is.
The smell may take time to go away .... time living in good conditions and eating a healthy diet

I hope you were able to get them all
