Quick Question. I know that cold and drafts are not good for rats. But we live in the basement apt now and we have vents from the ceiling. Now this vent is across the room but a tall piece of furniture is there so it is directing the heat across the room. So the heat flow stops about a foot above the cage. Could this be a problem?

Are you asking about being too hot? or about being in a hot draft?

Both, I am worried about the hot draft being too hot. Also worried that the hot draft is not good for them.

Not really it's hard to explain... I think we just might have to move the cage. Which is fine.

Hello friend !
I want to know that what is the best atmosphere for
a peregrinate rat it is so imported for me .

I think it's funny that currently, Maeby and Lucille seem unaffected by the temperature change, while Emma is quite puffy when I get up in the morning. So I think their personal temperature sensitivities can vary, as with us.

I personally would rather have my girls but slightly too cool than slightly too warm.
