head tilt.

My 2 and a half month old sweetie has a head tilt. It JUST started today, she was just fine yesterday. She seems fine otherwise. Is it very likely she just has an ear infection, and not something worse like a tumor? Can the vet look inside her ear to look? I've never had a rat have a head tilt before.

When babies get head tilt its almost always inner ear infection. Vet time for wee girly.

Well that's good news. I just have to raise the money to go to the vet!

It shouldn't be that expensive. You should start a vet fund for the future, rats sure need it.

To bad you arn't in Canada, I have to go to my vet Saturday and could have got you some Baytril. Wish it could be purchased on line :gaah:

Thanks anyways maple! I got her from the humane society, and if it had developed before 14 days i could get the medicine for free. Of course it was 16 days when I noticed it! Ugh.
