IVE prity much allways used shreded news paper sines the 80's but what do you use and why? I just cant see why to spend money on pet store bought beding when news papers free. every book I read said news paper can be bad but I never have had a problume with ink geting on rats as thay say will happen. no sick rats do to paper. so just whanted to know what you use and why you use it over the rest or what you think is best of all?

Loving rats since 2002.
My parents have 44 rats and they use newspaper as well. I prefer using fleece and Yesterday's news in litter pan because it's really good for odour absorption. The fleece is economical, I change it ever few days, give it a good wash and back in the cage, plus it looks real pretty. lol
