Has your rat ever ate anything it's really not suppose to?!

Smeagol just ate a plastic bead the size of a pea. Swallowed the damn thing while.

He is eating and drinking fine. Vet said to just watch him.

Anyone have any horror stories?! Should I be crazy worried?

Once my rattum tried to lick the steroid creme off the tube on my night stand... I think he got a bit but it didn't seem to hurt him... But I was freaked for a few days.

Well we just found a bead with teeth holes in it inside the couch vision so maybe we got lucky and he spit it out * crosses fingers*

Hmm... no, I don't think so! But Matilda once licked the deodorant off of my pit while I was getting dressed in the morning(it smells like fruit, lol)- the face was HILARIOUS!!! xDD

They sure are sneaky buggers. I did find one eating a chocolate ball once. I nearly died. This was years ago when everyone was claiming that chocolate was bad for rats.

If I wear lotion my rats will eat it... I have to have it for my dry skin though lol, but it doesn't hurt them.

Mine always try to lick deodorant off me! Hm. Barrow stole lettuce off my big mac to lick the sauce off of but that's not a big deal haha. I'm sure it's not the healthiest but nothing she won't survive

nail polish is another one... i don't know that they eat it... but they are really opposed to it being on my fingers
