grumpy boy...no bed

Cleaned all my babies out last night and bedding was really stinky so i put it in the machine...all hammocks, bedding, fleece pieces etc... Went in together. I put the machine on wrong setting and it ended up taking 5 hours so i had to leave animals with bare cages for the night. I gave the girls a mini hammock but they prefer their house anyway so no problem. Rfor has a tissue box, a sputnik (which he doesn't like) a tube and i gave him loads of fleece pieces.
he spent the night laid on shredded paper and tissues in the corner of the cage and when ingot upbthis morning he is refusing to speak to me, just gives me evil eyes. He wont take a treat from me and when i go to stroke him, he moves away! Very funny. His bed will be dry in half hour, in sure he will love me again then.

lol What a character! I have had my rats do the pouting with me too in the past. Too funny.

Well, I have put the bed back in...but it's the pink one, not the blue one and do you think he will use it? Not a chance!
Looked at me as if to say 'What? You want me to sleep in a girls bed???!!!

Then he sat under his ladder (back to me) and just stared at the wall. When I moved away, he went back to his little tissue nest and curled up. If he was able, I'm sure he would have stuck his tongue out at me at that point, LOL.
I went shopping and came back and he is still in his tissue nest.

Such a funny little (big) boy.

He has his bed back, his pod, his fluffy tunnel, 2 hammocks and where do i find him sleeping??? In a tissue box. He has used some fleece pieces to make a bed though. Silly rat!

Lol Bobo pouts like that too to the point he won't take treats from me so I put them by his nose and he will keep his butt pointed at me until I pull my hand out then he'll grab it and turn his butt back towards me lol I bet it was super funny with him pouting too and it's even funnier he ended up liking the tissue box lol rats :roll:

He has decided he is my friend again now. Wouldn't come out of cage last night, even in the play area. Just git him out now after lots of coaxing and he's sat on my lap having a scratch. Inthink he's a bit scared as i started intros with him so he thinks big bad flip is going to come and beat him up whenever he is out of cage. He can smell her in play area. Quite funny.
