So Griffin has his neuter tomorrow. I have to take him to the vet tonight because I'm supply teaching in the morning and won't have time to drop him off and then get to school. So that sucks. I hate leaving him there all night by himself. Poor boy.
I'm not taking him over till 7 so at least he'll have his buddies till then.
Hopefully all will go well!

Yup he's gonna be a happy male surrounded by females after that. I'm going in the 5th of march for Yuki. But last time I went in, I saw Dr Gallon, not Dunnet like you usually see.

Good luck Griffin! :)

Dr.Gallan will be doing two of our other surgeries 'cause Dr.Dunnett will be out. So I'm glad to know that there's another good rat doctor there!

I picked up Griffin around noon after I got back from supply teaching. They said he did very well and he was up and moving around. He's sookin right now laying on my lap. We have him in his own cage for right now. I'm just wondering what you guys do with your boys when they get neutered. Do you put them right back in with their buddies or wait a few days? Dr.Dunnett wanted us to wait a week or so. But that seems so long for me.
Although the two baby boys are quite hyper so I dunno if they'd drive him nuts...no pun intended lol

Going to post pics as soon as they're done loading!

I ususally have a couple done at a time so they always have company....I would think he would be fine to go back in with everyone tomorrow......
I am so glad he did great..

i keep them with me until they feel up to moving around, then i put them back with their boys. in 3 weeks they are safe to be with females. perhaps dr dunnett was talking about that when she said to keep him away from teh others for a couple weeks.

Here's the pics. I'm going to try and get a better picture of his parts region when Ang gets home.

If his cagemates aren't too rambunctious I usually put him back as soon as he eats and drinks good and has poopies. Glad Griffin is doing good. :joy:

we put him in with the boys and he seems to be much happier with them. They don't seem to bother his under parts so that's good! I'm glad it went so well!
