I have a very nice family interested in either the two boys or the three girls.....they adopted a dog from me a few years ago and did a great job training and caring for him....he is a valued member of the family.
Their son remembered that I had rats and asked his mom how she felt about adding a rat to their family....the whole family like the idea. I think they would be very loving and caring but they know nothing about rats or their care....I have explained they need to be kept with a least one other rat of the same sex..... they are coming to my home on Sunday to meet the rats and learn more about them....I would like to give them some info to read until they come over.....I want to make sure that they are knowledgeable and serious about this commitment....Plus I will send this info to my shelter manager and staff they have a lot to learn as well....
So anyone have any good sites bookmarked for me to pass along?

Thanks........great choices...and of course this is the best one ever....I just sent my shelter manager the list with a note that said...."read these and there will be a test"

That makes sense. I though it strange that you were re-homing your babies to people you don't know really well.

Those foster rats are beautiful! I hope they find really nice forever homes.
