Gabapentin?

Wondering if this is safe for ratties? We are currently out of the country (no income comming in) and this is all that we have. My oldest girl has developed a head tilt, which I suspect to be from an inner ear infection as the hubby has noticed her digging at her ears. We have tried getting Baytril, but are unable to without doing the whole check up process, and we really can not afford that. Is gabapentin safe? Has anybody used it? Is it worth giving a try? And if so how much would a 8oz ratty need?

Gabapentin is not an antibiotic, its an anti-seizure medication, and not something you should give your girl.
