Funky tail bump?

Last night I was playing with the girls and noticed a spot on Jazmine's tail that was odd. So I picked her up and it looked like a pimple, it had a head and when I squeezed is puss came out, so I squeezed it all out and it looked like just a hole. The skin was pink, no smell and she did not seem bothered by it. So I gave he some Baytril last night just in case of infection and this morning it had scabbed over, I tried to squeeze it to see if more would come out and nothing. I will keep her on Baytril for another week or so just in case.

Anything else I should do?

It must have been a small abscess. I've heard of others seeing that on their rats as well.
What you did was good, keep her on Baytril for a couple of weeks, should be fine.

My cat gets those on his chin. They seem to start as pimples and since he won't let me do anything about them they turn into little abscesses and eventually I have to hold him down and clean them out. For a 17 year old cat, he is extremely stubborn!
