Hey guys, I was just wondering about things I can do to entertain 4 girls.

I have seen pictures with rats fishing out peas in water, swimming rats and tissue box playtimes. Anything else I can do? I want to do activities that mimic natural rat behaviors and that sort of thing.

Also about the peas, if I do that, they should be frozen peas right?

I use frozen peas. As for rats mimicking natural behaviors then you'll want climbing, running... a jungle gym type of thing. They like hiding places too. Making them run after a feather is fun for some too.

I like to get hand me down children toys, like the Litle People sets. They like to run through the openings in the wee barns, and walk the tight rope in the circus sets. The house ones are fun too. You can get them at Salvation Army stores, or second hand stores of any kind, as well as on kijiji, etc.
You can try getting the cardboard tubes and stuffing them with tissues and treats for them to find.
In the hot weather my guys enjoyed ice cubes with frozen peas, corn, berries, etc inside, i'd catch them batting the cubes around like a hockey puck! lol

That is such a good idea! And I've got several different ones right up in my daughter's room. The trick will be convincing her to donate them, lol!

I keep remembering the big castles I had bought my sons when they were younger. Huge castles, would have been perfect for the rats. Can't find them anywhere now. I should have kept their toys.
