I met Dr. Bray this afternoon when I took Bill in for respiratory distress. She's been in town just over two months.
She was very knowledgeable and helpful. In her student days she had pet rats of her own, adopted from U of Guelph's lab at the end of each year. One of her jobs as a student was socializing the lab rats so that they would not be stressed out when handled. She worked for a couple of years in the UK, where she did a lot of vet work with small mammals.
We are so lucky in a little place like Fredericton to have three vet clinics that treat rats! Not to mention at least three vets who really like rats.
