It's been a while since we've had to deal with tumors but the other day I felt one on Jadzia. She's booked for Dec 3 to have it removed and to get spayed at the same time. Hopefully where it's small it won't come back.

Hermione's kids only just turned one. I have a feeling this will be just the start of the medical issues with them.

Oh dear, she's only 12 months? That is very young to start tumours, good thing you are getting her spayed as well.

I am so sorry. lets hope that's the only one who gets tumours and she'll be done once the spay is over. Pocky had a tumour removed at 8 months, was spayed and is now 27 months in 4 days

How many of Hermione's babies do you have there?

We have all of Hermione's girls Jadzia, Ezri, Lwaxana and Kes and then Velma has two of her boys Skidder and parker and then Christine has the other two boys ...their names escape me lol geez that's bad.

Yeah I though being only a yr was very young for tumors as well :( Sucks. It's under her left arm pit....hopefully the other girls won't have any tumors.

Still hard to believe they're a yr old already just seemed like yesterday that they were born.

That's awesome about Pocky wow!

Parker and Skidder send their sister lots of well wishes and healing vibes. We hope she is okay.....Parker has had respitory problems.....he has been on and off different meds for about 6 months now...nothing works....
I wonder how Christines boys are???

Hermione has started with a URI and Monte still has ear troubles and then Tiberious passed away because of URI and I think heart issues...so not looking good for their kids :( I'm not sure how Christines boys are doing, last I heard they were doing really well.

Well tomorrow is the big day! Jadzia goes in for her tumor removal and spay. The tumor is pretty free moving under her skin so that's a good sign and it's only a big pea size so hopefully with the spay she won't get any more tumors.

Wish her luck!

Jadzia did great :) We're picking her up in a few hrs. We'll set her up in the hospital cage for a few days so everyone doesn't pick on her. I figured we'll put her mama in with her to take care of her.

Hopefully there will be no tumors after this.

The vet tech said that when Dr. Gallon did the surgery the tumor just popped right out like a little ball. Easy as pie! So that's good to hear. She's a hurtin girl right now. I just gave her some metacam so hopefully that kicks in soon for her.

Her sisters and mother are pretty worried about her so I've been switching them every few hours so they can all have their turn to check on her. I have the hospital cage by the CN and they pretty much stay right by the wall close to the cage to keep an eye on her.

I think I'll wait a few days so she has a chance to heal up before I put her back in with everyone. She's a big time wheel runner so I'm also kinda worried she'll do a little too much and pull her stitches. At least it's not right in the armpit area and more down her side but I still want to limit her moment for a bit to give her a head start on healing.

So glad that she came through it OK, poor sweetie. And it probably will be fine if she goes on the wheel. With people, they used to enforce bed rest and later found that it is best to get people moving asap after surgery.

Healing vibes to Jadzia

She's been having the owie stretches for the past few days. Once she takes the metacam she seems to feel better but I can tell she's not herself as she's baracaded herself in the hidy hut and pretty much just stays in there. Which is not like her as she's super active and on the go all the time.

We've been switching her sisters and some of the other kids in with her so everyone has a chance to check on her which I think she likes. The CN needs cleaned once I do that I'll put her back in with everyone and see how she does.
