I've seen some first aid kit threads and they have a lot of things that you have to specifically look for.

I was wondering though, what are the things around the house that you can gather into a makeshift first aid kit? Hydrogen peroxide (diluted), q tips, cottonballs? I know I'd want more than that but what around the house could you put in a kit?

I would assume you mean ratty first aid kit? :giggle: If so I would reccomend:
- plain old salt and water soak over hydrogen peroxide
- gauze (only to use to apply pressure to get a wound to stop bleeding) over cotton balls or Q-tips
- sometimes polysporin or the polysporin eye drops come in handy
- A big one I would reccomend is children's/infant liquid advil since its a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory
- I also keep a bottle on unopenned ensure and baby cereal on hand just in case you suspect one of the ratties isn't eating

I'm sure people have other things but thats what I can think of right now, hope it helps!
