Finley is one of my other boys that has left over damage from his neuter. Now that Loki and Algernon are on their way to healing I will be doing him and Ludo next.
Ludo has swelling, but rarely gets a major abscess, Al and Finley however did. I have soaked him so many times but I cannot get rid of it. I was trying to avoid surgery with him but after this last one I guess I cannot.
Of course after the boys get theirs done his says "hey look at me." I could tell it was coming up so I put him back on baytril but It is still huge. I didn't have any pictures of it to send with my case so I took some this time. Since I keep hearing it is a normal neuter complication, oh really now?

Foul isnt it?
I have him on meds, I do have some clavomox here I am thinking about switching from baytril to that? any ideas on that? I have heard it is better for skin problems? I think...
I did the soak i can see the puss coming out, so we are on our way, I guess tomorrow before work i will do it again and see how it goes.
I boil some water, then put it in this green bucket from the dollar store with some epson salt and let it cool down. The I put him in it. He does better if he can see out, if it is to tall then he tries to jump. He generally just shivers but I guess he is naked!
I am at a loss. I dont want so many rats in one cage healing so I am waiting on these two for about two weeks. I don't think I will need testing so I only need 190.00 for their surgeries. I have some needed spays/neuters this Thursday so I am looking my next paycheck to take them in..... I really don't want him having surgery with this ugly thing there either
This week is final week, i will say I am overwhelmed. The only bright side is I am not PMS'ing on top of it :laugh4:
