for everyone that gave me advice and encouragement concerning my difficult introduction between my resident rat freida and new baby esme, you'll be happy to know that they are officially cage mates!
i worked with them all day, and by the end i realized the reason why it took so long...
ESME IS ALPHA!
the much smaller and month younger esme established her dominance and now freida is more than happy to have someone to cuddle with. i should have known freida is just all talk..haha.
anyways, thanks again to all those that helped me out. i'm so happy!
