Female babay rats smell awful???

:rathugz: I bought three female rats on Tuesday and they smell pretty bad. We live in an apartment and I don't want the landlords to smell the rats but I don't know how to make them smell less, I have them on fleece in a single unit CN. What should I do, any tips please.
P.S. I have an air purifier in the guinea pig/my room but I could put it in the rat/living room but then my guinea pigs will smell, or I could switch the rooms every couple of days? oop:

Females especially shouldn't smell bad. What is the smell like? poop? Do you have any litter pans with something like Yesterday's news in it? It really helps to keep poop odour down.
Also, cleaning up all poops everyday does help.

What were they being fed before and what are they being fed now?

Often a poor diet or sudden diet change can make rats smell pretty terrible. Certain veggies are also known to cause stinky rats.

They have a litter box and I want to use Yesterday's News but I can't seem to find it in the pet store. I am feeding them HT blocks but before the pet store ran out of blocks so they game them seed mix for the time being and maybe thats why because one even had diarrhea when i was choosing them. :sick2:

What are you using in the litter box? Maybe it doesn't control odour enough?
