Hi there!
One of my little girls has one eye that bulgs slightly more than the other. When I compare the more bulging one to my other rat it looks completely similar (the other one has big eyes). She has had it ever since I got her, probably from birth and has been completely happy and healthy from day 1. There are no signs of PT. She does give a little huff every now and then, a few times a day like a soundless sneeze. I watched videos from sick rats and checked Gips all over. There is no rattling breathing or squeaks or discharge. As far as I can judge, the slightly bigger eye is just a personal quirk. I just want to make sure that I don't have to worry.

I've had a few with a bigger eye. If you are sure it's not a symptom of anything else, then I wouldn't worry. But always keep an "eye" on him...pun intended. lol

One of my girls has a bulging eye. I have had it checked a couple of times but nothing seems to be wrong other than an eye that sometimes is twice the size of the other. It does have a scar on it, so I don't know if it was normal originally. She was a rescue.

Twice the size, that is a lot. With Gipsy it is only slightly bigger. She can close it just fine and right now she is sniffing the outside aur and bruxing happily on my shoulder. I understand from your posts that uneven eyes occur more often, that is a relief.
