Exciting allergy news!!!!!

:banana: :banana: :banana: I am, in no way, allergic to Maverick!! I don't break out in hives where her nails break the skin, I don't sneeze and I don't get watery eyes at all! This is so exciting!! My other rats cause HUGE welts to pop up whereever their nails break the skin from both pokes and scratches. It's worst with the boys by far, but I have NO REACTION to Maverick!! YAY!! :banana: :banana: :banana:

Ooo great news!! But totally wierd how you can be allergic to some rats and not others... hmmmm!!

Isn't that strange?!Willow is usually great about not sticking her nails into me but I still break out sometimes when I hold her... Aw well... Maybe some day I'll have a whole group of rats I'm not allergic to! :wink:

Don't want to be the party pooper but it could just be that Maverick has not develop enough of the dander and other allergens to affect you yet cause she's quite young.
