They like saliva. LOVE it actually.

I find it strange some rat owners find this gross. You could say I literally make out with my rats. LOL

I love their mouths more than they love mine. Their breath smells wonderful (especially when they first wake up, they have the best morning breath), and I love the way their furry lips feel. I always like when they get their spit on me....I'll stop now so I don't humiliate myself, but I find you crazy. I love when they climb in my mouth (Not when they claw it up though!).

I won't allow my rats to do this. It's not because I find it gross, but we have a lot of bacteria around our teeth, best not to let the rats access to that. lol

my boyfriend is a chronic coffee drinker.. and lets just say my rats have a taste for coffee. as soon as they get a wiff of his breath EVEN through his nose they will, relentlessly, do what they can to get where that smell is coming from, including trying to climb up his nose. :cheeky: its funny because if you toss them away (softly and on the bed) they keep running back to his face like its their job, while pop corning, its all a game to them of course :lol:

HAHAHAH rodentist. My Saké licks my lips from time to time... I just tell her to "give mumy kisses" and she licks my lips right where there would be saliva... now I know why.
