This morning I noticed that both Emmett and Elwood sounded a little congested. Called the vet (found one less than a mile from my house) and they got me right in.
He said that it was very very early respiratory infection, and it was good that we are treating it this early, because he thinks Baytril will knock it out pretty well. We talked quite a bit, and he ended up giving me some extra Baytril to keep on hand so that I can start treating in case I can't get in right away.
He said other than the slight congestion, they look very healthy... good coats, eyes look good, good activity, well hydrated.
And he just charged me for a re-check, not an initial visit.
