Talk about the month for tumors. I really hope this is the last one 'cause these removals are friggin expensive. Leia's was 200 and now Emily is going in tomorrow for hers. I'm going to have to leave work for a bit to take her there and then go back to work. Fun times. Hopefully she'll do well in the surgery and they won't find any surprises like Leia.

Emily did really well :joy: She's moving around as if nothing happened! I'm really surprised how well she's doing because where the tumor was down by the inner left leg. She was spayed at the same time and the vet just charged for the spay so that's nice. Her sides are sunken in a little when she moves around to much like jumping up on her house. I have her and Leia in the green ferret cage. The two tumor buddies lol
Hopefully this will be it for tumors for a while! Here are some pictures I took of her and Leia when I got home.

Leia is still kinda slow acting and more worn down looking still. You can see how puffed up she looks. Poor girl hopefully she'll be feeling better soon.

Emily belly looks really good. She was a trooper for letting me take a picture of her tummy.

Crazy nut going up on the house. The way she acts you'd think she didn't just have surgery.

I'm so glad I still have this cage it's perfect for after surgery recovery

Ok I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me or it's just the way she was walking but It looks as if there was another lump on the other side of her leg kinda hanging down. I tried to check it out but she was squirming to much. I couldn't feel anything hard though when I did get a little feel. I really hope it wasn't hiding from the vet I so don't want to put her through another surgery. Her sides were really sunken in today poor thing. I gave her metacam but I don't know if it's working. The vet said to give her the .1 every 12 hrs.
Can I give her more then that if her sides are still sunken in?

Sometimes they walk funny after a tumour removal and it may look like a lump? Also, it could be a build up of fluids or blood which should be absorbed soon enough.
