Is eggyoke (the yellow) good for a mum with babies? Just thought it looks perfekt with protein and fat, and pasteurised so no bacteria

Yep, it's fine. You can scramble up the entire egg, most ratties adore it. It's a nice high protein meal for mum, too.

Aha - I was going to give it raw. Me being stupid, but scramble is like frying, just messing it up? What's the difference?

take an egg, whisk the entire thing together so the egg and whites are all blended, put a bit of butter or oil in a pan (just so it doesn't stick) and pour it in...then using a spatula move the egg and break it up as it cooks.

Frying has a lot of butter and oils, so isn't healthy at all.

I, personally, would still go ahead and cook it. Even though it's been treated, I'd be worried. Besides, it doesn't take more than a minute to scramble an egg.

Once in a while as a treat for my boys, I like to hard boil an egg, crack it a little at the top so they can smell it and give it to them shell and all :D It's a stimulation for their brains to try to get at the egg inside but they don't eat the shell I only find pieces of it later :) The protein would be good for your baby mama, can you get omega 3 eggs over there?

I tried boiled. They licked at it, but the only one that showed real interest was Lily who seems to be more interested in human food then Ruby and Hazel. It really didn't get eaten at all. Although Lily enjoyed carrying around in the cage.

LOL so did they. I took photos as well. There's also one of the egg falling down the stairs of the FN. xD
