Early signs of PT or something else in Jadzia?

I really am hoping that this isn't an early sign of PT but it is very very very off for Jadzia to be doing this. The last few days when she comes up to me she nips me on any part of my hand. She has never in her life done this which is why it concerns me. She just had a tumor removal about a month ago now I think.

We've dealt with PT but never had really early on signs of it so I'm wondering if this could be a sign? She doesn't seem confused really but I just find it strange she would start this kind of behaviour.

Any ideas?

Do you see her biting down on other things in and around her cage like paper towels or bedding?
This could be a sign of pain. Are there any other signs that might make you think PT?
This could just be a new behaviour. Any changes with her out time? Even cage mate losses?

Nothing has really changed. The last cagemate loss was Starbuck which was a few weeks now. I'll have to watch her and see if she's biting on anything else.

She doesn't seem to have any of the other PT symptoms that I can tell. I'm going to have to sit and watch her. I haven't been feeling good so I haven't sat in with them for a little while.

At first when she did It I thought maybe I still had something on my hands but she's done this 3 or 4 times now. Just very out of character for her.

My Desmond did exactly that for a few days, he's not in the best of health but nothing really serious. Like you I thought, oh no, PT. But there were no further signs and he seems fine now.

That's good to hear!

Jadzia hasn't done the nipping thing for a couple days now and there are no other signs of PT which is good but I still have a feeling something else is going on with her...just not sure what.

So this behavior must mean something. I wish I knew what.
What makes you feel something is off? What else are you seeing?
My Desmond is suffering from a URI, he's pretty much on palliative care, he's puffy a lot and sleeps a lot.
I've recently started him on a low dose of metacam.

I dunno it's just a feeling? She's looking more thick. I should get her in to Dr. Gallon maybe she can feel her belly and see if she feels anything. I just have a feeling she has a belly tumor. I can't feel it but I just have this strong feeling that it's there. Does that make sense?
