One of my girls has started to worry me with her breathing and weight.
Mimi is around 2 yrs old. she was bought at a store were she was meant to be a feeder, I later realized why this was bad choice and know better now.

Her body is weird, everything is smaller compared to my other girls. She has had two litters.

She has started to breath funny when she's standing still. Really rapid but there is no sound that I can identify.
I have tried looking up what the problem could be but I always end up thinking its twelve different things.
I did try and use one of my moms stethoscopes but I wasn't sure what to listen for.

I clean the girls cage either once or twice a week with hot water. I use a sponge to wipe the big parts and a toothbrush to get corners and edges.
I wipe off their water bottle and rinse the inside with hot water and later fill it with water from the fridge because are water is very rough.
I wipe down everything in there cage and avoid ceder and pine bedding. Right now they do have aspen.

I did take one of my old hats and turned it into a hammock for them but it was washed and aired out before it was put in. There is shredded paper in the hat.

I also really should point out her behavior here is very strange. She normally hates being in one place and wants to run. I've being trying to take multiple videos to show the breathing and shes just staying here, only moves a little every now and then to clean herself or get comfy.

I just got her out to see the feet color and the best way I can describe this is shes thumping, like when someone pats you on the shoulder this is what she feels like. Shes also bruxing which I know means either happy or pain. I'm getting the meds first thing in the morning.

I can't see the video, it says error.
What are her other symptoms, is she panicking or drooling? Is this new to her? Could she be choking?

She isn't shaking at all nor is she drooling. Yes this is new to her, the breathing was just short moments of rapid breathing but today it got much worse.

I'll mess with the video again.

Is she on meds now? She looks like she may need Baytril and or Doxy.
No I wasn't sure if I should start or not but if you believe it can help then i'll start her on it.

I know if she was mine I would give her meds. It's really hard to tell with a video but she seems to breathe very hard. Good luck with your sweetie.

Her breathing is very hard and sorry about the quality, I took multiple videos and that was the best one.

I'm going to start her on meds this week, I have to find a way to weigh her because of the weight loss. There was a page that lists the dosages right?

If she has rapid breathing, the most likely problems are with her lungs, or her heart. I don't think you can go wrong by treating her with antibiotics, such as Baytril.
How do her paws look? Are they pink, blue, or white? This can be a sign of what is going on.

They look to be a very light pink.
I also just noticed while looking at her feet a slight congested noise coming from her nose. She isn't breathing as hard right now, she only makes the noise very rarely but when she does it sound like a bubble popping.

Light pink is good. I would start her on the Baytril ASAP. And make sure you continue her meds for a long time, at least 6 weeks.
How much should I use? I'm trying to find baytril at my local store and petmeds has Baytril 22.7mg Taste Tabs. Is this good enough, to strong or weak?
I haven't had a situation like this yet and i'm kinda panicking.

I'm about to go get some doxy for Mimi but i'm not sure about what I should get.

DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE 50MG CAPS
DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE 100MG CAPSULES
DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE 100MG TABLETS
DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE 50MG CAPSULES
DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE 20MG TABLETS
DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE 100MG CAPS
DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE 150MG TABS
DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE 75MG TABS
DOXYCYCLINE MONO 50MG TABLETS
DOXYCYCLINE MONOHYDRATE 100MG TABS

That's what I am able to get right now. I can't get any baytril right now unless I order it or can get some from my vet.
