It has been a while since I have had to administer any meds to our rats. Is it okay to administer doxy and baytril right after each other or should I wait for a while in between?

They can be given at the same time, I even hide them in the same food.

According to my vet it's best to wait at least 30 min in between each med.

I never asked her...but when I talked to my son who is in 4th year biochem he said that the same meds would bind to the same receptors so it would be like they are fighting for the same spot and might not be as effective. I've got the right wording somewhere on the forum, I'd have to find it.
