ok i have chol plam for sneezie(soon to have new name) and monkey.

the meds says ".15cc to .25cc/lb"

Sneezie(age is 6 to 7months old) weighs:
9.1oz
or
258kg

Monkey(8 months of age) weighs:
9.5oz
or
269kg

thanks for any help.

Sneezie: weighs ... 258kg = 0.578 Ib (258g/454.4g)

.... so 0.09 cc to 0.14 cc of cholplam

Monkey : weighs .... 269kg = 0.592 Ib (269g/454.4g)

....... so 0.09 cc to 0.15 cc of cholplam

(amounts have been rounded off)
If we knew the concentration (mg/Ib), we could double check on the dosage.
Assume it also tells you how many times per day ... in my experience, it is usually twice.

the meds says 50mg of chor plam the meds name exact is chlor plam 250. i ask because my vet does not weigh the rats and all and i want to be total sure of things :) he is a great vet other then the weighing part but i can do it myself at home, i am just not so good at dosing like you guys are.

also what is 0.09? on a 1 cc syringe do i just count the lines to 9?
