My sweet senior Dobby seems to be getting wobbly. I think his hind end is going. Is there anything I can do to slow the deterioration? What else should I do for him?
Does this mean it's the beginning of the end for Dobbs? Sorry about all the questions but I've never dealt with this before. Thanks.

My sweet Phoebe started to get HED almost a year a go....she know longer can use her back end...but is still going strong. It is just the aging process....it does not mean he is close to the end. I hope sweet Dobby is happy and doing well for a long time yet...

Some people have had success with joint supplements like glucosamine and chondroitin. You can do a search on the forum.
But like already mentioned, you can have many many more good months with your sweetie. Rats adapt so well with HED.
