Clair my 2yr old girl with the 3 tumors may have stopped pooping.
When I went to bed last night, I cleaned out all the poop in the cage.
SO far today, only Tilly has pooped- I was there when she did :p

Clair is getting infant's ibuprofen for pain. (posted about in another thread- see "I think it may be time..")

what else can I do?

I'm soaking lab blocks but she's not interested in those, she only wants the infants cereal and veggies (mostly peas and some baby food sweet potatoes)

:emb:

I'm sorry, she's got an inguinal tumor and another tumor in her groin, and I think the tumors are blocking her up

I don't think she's necessarily constipated..... but I was thinking if her poop was softer she could get it past the tumor, I dunno........???

My Lady had a tumor invading her colon and the vet suggested olive oil for her. But I had to bring her in soon after she stopped pooping. I'm sorry Petunia.

Drinking more, and taking some oil, may help. But if she is blocked up it could be fatal, and so it makes sense that she isn't interested much in food. She will need to see a vet soon.

fish oil, fish oil, fish oil. One of my girls had inguinal tumours and had developed a growth on her bowel that caused her to begin obstructing. We were able to get a couple to pass but it was the end of her eventually, so you need to be very careful that that's not the case here :(
