Hi Guys

I'm just wondering what I can do to stop Buford from chewing his cage bars? I let him out most days but he ends up getting in all sorts of crap so he's usually the first to go back. He's only chewing at night which is a bit of an issue considering the boys are a metre from my bed. He's quite quiet about it but it's kinda unnerving knowing he's bunging up the FN :lol2: .

Thanks a bunch

Yes he has his brother and the SkinKids in with him not to mention he at least gets cuddles everyday...Oh and I almost forgot that he's one the only ones who uses the wheel...I think he just likes being a bother

It's not so bad but I worry that it maybe unhealthy chomping back all that paint :sick2:

The best solution (for lack of a better word because its not a full solution) I found for my bar chewer was rotating toys. Even something as simple as moving a hammock or adding a new paper towel roll or kleenex box would keep my guy from being tempted to chew the bars. Also my cage was near my desk so he would chew alot more when I was at my desk just trying to get my attention so maybe moving your cage further from your bed might help?
