Buddy lost 120 g in one week - ideas anyone?

Buddy has a mass in his chest.
He is on pred, chlorpalm, lasix, baytril, & doxy as he was also conjested, etc.
A recent xray has shown that the mass has decreased in size .... vet isn't sure if it is a tumor or an abscess thus both the pred and the chlorpalm.

Buddy has lost a lot of weight in the last few weeks. On June 25 Buddy weighed 667 g. On July 14 he weighed 500 g and you can now feel his spine.

Buddy is very, very active and seems happy and healthy.
Buddy will be two years old in Nov.

Any ideas?
We have no idea what is going on or what to do about it.

I believe my mom just read up on Chlorpalm and it can actually give you stomach pains. If Buddy is having pains, he'll stop eating or eat very little.
You need for find food with high fat, not high protein to get his metabolism working again.
