Boys booked for surgery!

Our two newest additions, Rufus and Rupert are booked to get snipped on Sunday morning. Do you think they will need to be seperated at all afterwards, I believe the vet uses the surgical glue? I was also wondering, should they be sent home with painkillers because when Ralph was neutered the vet just gave him a hot before he sent him home?

Definitely keep them together afterwards (as long as they haven't been beating each other up); the companionship will ease their distress.

And definitely ask for Metacam for the next few days after surgery. I have read that some rats can get painful cramping after a neuter. Mine did not need it for long, but it kept them comfortable.
