Miss BookieChookie is her appropriate name but we call her Bookie for short. She has always been a very shy rat, hanging towards the back of the rat pack when they come out to play or run to the door for attention. She is very sweet, tho, just nervous. She was extremely fat, it seemed like it happened so quickly that she was normal, and then one day she was a porker. We did put her and the others on a veggies and fruit only diet (well, they still get free fed kibble, but no more unhealthy treats) and she did loose like from like 650g down to 530g on that diet.
We took her in to the vet's to have her inspected as I was concerned she was starting to get mammary tumors. The vet said it was "fat deposits" and not to worry. I didn't really agree, but I figured that vets know better. Well, a couple months later and her poor tumors got HUGE. Bookie might be a little reserved, but she has her moments when she falls asleep in hilarious poses, or comes and loves on me and rubs up against me. Bookie reminds me that everyone loves differently, but that doesn't make any noe more or less than another.
