Charlie bit Timmy's tail multiple times and the tip of his tail turned black. It means that it's supposed to fall off... but it has been days and it hasn't yet..
How long should it take to fall off? :/

Oh boy. If it's getting infected, little guy is going to need antibiotics. The tail tip can take a couple of weeks to either heal or fall off.

Yeah... Timmy gets all the beating, unfortunately.
He doesn't stand up for himself!

The good news though, is that Charlie has stopped biting him. :)

Signs of infection include:
-pain
-swelling
-redness
-heat
-pus
An old bloody scab can look quite dark. If Timmy can reach his tail himself, he will keep it clean. I would not be soaking it in case the bone is exposed at the end. One of my babies had a tail injury. Have a look at the pictures and see how long it took for things to heal.

Then you can compare it to Timmy's tail. She didn't have all the other bites, so Timmy's tail will be a bit more red and puffy from that trauma.

Thank you for the information! It doesn't have any infection signs so far.
