Bite Wound Or Something Else?

I came home from work and when I checked on my 2 boys, Gregory had a small wound on his snout. I believe he got bit by his brother Nicky. If this is a bite, what are some reasons this could have happened? Gregory seems to be doing ok despite this.

It looks like it could be a bite. Was there much blood? It looks pretty shallow so it may have been an accident or just from a play fight. If this hasn’t happened before, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. They were probably play fighting and things got a little rowdy.

I didn't find any blood in the cage so I believe it wasn't much. And, this would be the first time I've seen an injury on my rats so it could very well have been an accidental bite. Thank you for putting my mind at ease a bit.

That's nothing much to worry about. Keep an eye on it for infection but it likely will just heal and disappear.
