My girl is old she is close to 30 months now. Her left eye is off to me. She is losing the hair, she already has some neuro thing happening where she rears up. I dont feel any lumps or bumps.

Can she blink properly? Is she rubbing those eyes?

Can you give her metacam or even a steroid as an anti-inflammatory?

God she's cute, even when she's all buggy.

I have her on heart meds there was question on her heart being bad, and she is on baytril too. So can she have metacam with heart meds?

rug Interactions or Contraindications
Should not be given to pregnant or lactating animals.

Since many NSAIDs have the potential to produce gastrointestinal ulceration and bleeding, avoid concomitant use of meloxicam (Metacam) with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids.

Do not use on animals with history of asthma, or suffering from gastrointestinal irritation and hemorrhage, impaired hepatic, cardiac, or renal functions.

Caution when using with aminoglycosides (e.g.,gentamicin, amikacin); may increase risk of nephrotoxicity.

Can decrease the antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors.

May reduce the diuretic effect of furosemide (Lasix).

Can increase serum levels of digoxin.
