are both puffy and not right. Bindi is a bit clicky and breathing labored. The problem is she is allergic to Doxy so i cannot give that to her. I have baytril and I can put her on that.

Algernon is puffy, this damn winter, no matter what I do for these guys I cannot keep them healthy, none of my other groups get these issues but these babies. Bindi is overweight and about two now and algernon is overweight and not nearly that old. he is just a bit younger than Templeton was. so he is about 18 months now, give or take :( really dampened my mood today, instant depression.

I started them on baytril/doxy minus bindi since she cannot have it..

Let's just pray it goes away and I can help them. Bindi is the first girl we brought home, (kaits) to be with luna....

My babies dont feel well at all.

the sides work well when a rat has issues breathing it props them up enough to help them out.

I found bindi drinking today finally. I would give her food she would nibble and just fight to breath a bit, no gasping but she was having a hard time. Finally both are eating, both are drinking and bindi actually perked her cute little saucer ears up at me :) Bindi was not as puffy as she was in the last few days so hopefully both are on the mend.
