Best treatment for a URI?

Okay so before I go to the vet, I want to know what meds you people have used with success for a moderate respiratory infection. My boy has been sneezing a lot lately, but I havent noticed any porphyrin.

I was thinking Doxy/baytril, but I'm not sure.

I always start with just Baytril. Then if in a week or so there's no improvements, I add the doxy. If still no improvements, I sometimes switch to Zithromax.

Baytril is 14-28 days, right? I've heard not to let vets talk you into any less.

I'd do it for at least a month.

Our vet automatically gives a Baytril/Doxy combo for 14-21 days for URIs.
