Best gloves for preventing rat bites?

What kind of gloves do you folks recommend for preventing rat bites?

We're attempting an intro between two "I hate other rats" girls, and in case this attempt goes really south, I don't think blankets are going to do the job ...

The only time I was badly bitten was during a intro - I saw the lunge coming, so I thrust my bare hand between them and well, the aggressor couldn't stop the bite in time. She was very sorry about that (never bit me before or since), but it took forever for the bite to stop bleeding.

I'd like to avoid a repeat of that if possible.

Not an option unfortunately. The rescue lady and I are doing this "under the radar" ...

lol I was always able to escape bites by how i grabbed them.

I reach for the tails, grab close to the base and swing away from each other. Keep an empty water bottle and crinkle it when it gets too bad, it should scare the rats.

They do make chainmail gloves - they use them for jobs like cutting chickens up, so that if you slip with the knife you won't cut your hand. Might work for rattie teeth if the weave is close enough.
