bedding with mites

I went away for a week and while i was gone Bradley ( my hubby) was looking after the rats anyways he bought some aspen and didnt put it in the freezer for 24/48 hours like i told him too and ya now everyone has mites.. :doh: Im a royally ticked and i have noone to rant to but you guys So anyways I have started with a new Vet and i am taking my Dog in on Friday so m picking up some revolution Thank Goodness. Mites are not fun!!! :redhot:

I feel for you....been there, done that but never with my ratties, its always my mice. The first time I got mites from that "fluff a bed" or whatever you call it. Nasty, nasty, nasty....I hate bugs :rant:

Definitely not fun. I remember my vet's jaw dropping to the floor when I told her I needed enough "stuff" to treat 80 rats...
Now that was a lot of work.
(when we have a mite/lice outbreak, I treat the whole building because we interact with all the rats.)

Can you just imagine telling someone there is 80 rats in that building....LOL
That must have been a job.
