Tobi has been on Baytril for about 3 weeks now...he's still breathing with congestion. He has one more week to go on the Baytril, but he has only showed very slight improvement, so I'm going to be calling the vet tomorrow to see if she suggests putting him on another antibiotic. He's completely normal otherwise...just some congested breathing.
A couple days ago I saw that there was some mold in the cover of the Baytril because it tipped over and some got stuck in the cap. I take the cap off to shake it, so none of the actual medicine ever touched the cover. I rinsed it out. I have still been giving him the same Baytril, but I'm wondering if I should stop and get new medicine from the vet.
