My vet was supposed to give me enough Bayrtil for a month....but theres no way they gave me enough so I wanted to double check to see if they either mixed the correct concentration, and just didn't give me enough....or if they made it extra concentrated.

They gave me 3 22.7mg tablets in 3mL of water...which I believe is correct...1mL per tablet? He's getting .2mL 2x a day...but they only gave me these 3 mL which will last like a week.

So should I have actually gotten 12 tablets in 12mL of water?

Also...if you mix 1 tablet for 1mL of water, does that give you 2.27% Baytril?

If you give me his weight I can work out if the dosage is correct then I can sort out how much you should have.

1 pill to 1 ml = 22.7 mg/ml (the 2.27% is the injectable kind)

I don't know his exact weight, somewhere around a pound. I'm not worried about that...0.2mL sounds correct...I'm just worried about them mixing it correctly.

I love my vet, but I swear her vet techs always have problems with the meds they give me. I'm seriously considering just asking to get a Rx for Baytril and getting the tabs from 1800PetMeds and just mixing it myself when needed. Cheaper, and less headache.
