Badger Introductions - Day 5 - Move Complete :)

Day 1- We put vanilla extract on everyone necks so everyone smelled similar.

It went really well! Scamp was a little puffy ..the girls could never cared at all!

Ok. Your trouble spot is Scamp, naturally. So you really only need to watch him. But so far it's really good. Oh but Badger...what a happy happy boy! He needs and wants lots of buddies.

Oh my gosh, I love how happy badger looks. He is so thrilled at the new friends. (I also love that I can now see rat emotions heh).

So I went with my gut and took them out tonight on the couch ...with toys and blankets ...they were out for 2 full hours with no troubles.

I took a video, but it was rather boring :giggle:

I only put toys on the non familiar grounds this morning ...lol ..I moved it kind of fast ... but I think they will soon be living together.

Yep, you know when you can move it along fast and it's so easy to just back up a step if you went too fast.
Sounds great! Of course, you've got "nice" rats there anyways. lol

 

lol today will be the last day I think ..gonna scrub the cage tomorrow and see how it goes ..they are currently all running over me on the couch loving it.
