Baby with bite

This baby was born yesterday, I don't know how or why (hopefully just a mistake from mum), should anything be done? it's dry, but I don't know if it's the skull I can see or if it's just a wound; it's moving fine and gaining wait like it's siblings.

Babies sometimes get wounds from mom when she pulls them out by the head. It'll probably heal just fine, but it does make you say "Awwwww "

Guess it's just luck it wasn't eye or ear that got in the way - and yes it looks painfull, but is healing very quickly

aww! Babies are always so precious! I bet that the bite mark won't even show once he/she has a full coat of lovely fur over it! Thanks for sharing! I look forward to seeing more pics!

I think it will show because it's still all the way to the bone, but it doesn't matter that much, just happy everything else is ok for the poor thing (still looks painfull)
