It's been about a month since his neuter and after a small abscess on his left side (which healed after a couple weeks and some ABs), he has developed one on the right side . . . sigh . . . I used a hot compress and helped it along with a sterile needle this morning. It's right next to his little weenie, so I poked as far away as possible and tried not to push too much. I put the yuckier pics in spoilers for those currently eating dinner . . .
Poor boy

Checked on him a few hours later, it's completely open

The blue staining is from the chlorohexadine solution I used to flush the gaping hole. I called my vet and left her a message about him. (She's a vet I work with at the shelter, so I should hear from her soon). He's active and climbing around, so I am not too worried, yet. I just want to get him on some ABs and get him on the road to recovery.
