Hi I just found this ad on craigslist

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bnc/p ... 06636.html

Long story short; I now have a young rat, 15-18days old. His eyes are open. (his mom died and this guys is last survivor). His eyes are open. My question is , should I be feeding him soy formula, or will he be fine on his own?

I would email but I honestly have no experience with babies.

Someone who knows what they are talking about, please email them?

I sent a message through the Craiglist ad. Hope she's able to pull the little guy through. Now that I think of it, maybe we should refer her to Little Mischief for help.

Thanks for your help, I don't want the little guy to pass on at such a young age.

Yes, she should give the soy formula for quite a few weeks ... as baby becomes older and is weaned, the formula is thickened with baby cereal.

Oh, okay, I see. i will send her an email, with tihs info and the link to the Little mischief site so she can ask them for help as well as a linkt o this site.

Don't they still need to be stimulated to relieve themselves at that age? All the formula in the world won't help a little guy who can't potty. :(
