When Amy was so sick last week, I was having to take her out of the cage to give her meds. She has ALWAYS been hand-shy. Well, I guess she is getting over that now, because she comes to the front of the cage bruxxing when we open the doors. She LOVES us to pet her now, so I supposed all the handling she got last week convinced her we aren't bad people.
Also, she only wants to take her meds from a syringe! I have no problems with that, because at least I know she is getting them. I give them all a bit of treat of Ensure, not too much though, and Amy won't drink it from the bowl but will RUSH to the end of the syringe to gobble it right down! Silly spoiled brat rat!
